Laminated Bow.. Parallel Splice?
« on: February 16, 2011, 11:10:00 AM »
Glued up my first glass bow the other day. I cut 45 degree angles on my parallels where I butted them together, but when I put it in the press I got a little seperation in the splice. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on how to make a good tight joint on my next one? Thanks!

Use a sharper angle so you have more surface area. I use super glue to glue
them together, kennym shows this on one of his buildalongs

Thanks, I should have thought of that. That makes perfect sense.
