I tend to prefer them over TrueFlight. I find the Gateway feathers to have a narrower base that is easier to get good results with in my feather choppers. If they could only do that narrow base to the same thickness as TrueFlight bases, I'd be in feather heaven.

I have used both Gateway and TrueFlight. All the Gateway feathers I have used have all been excellent quality.I have used mostly TrueFlight because that is what is availble locally. But have had no problem with Gateway,I have gotten some really good buys on them.I like their Tre-camo feathers, their 4" feathers are about 1/16" taller than TrueFlight's 4".

I prefer Trueflite, they seem to last longer in our local wet conditions, but Gateway has the best range of colours.
I've heard that both companys source their feathers from the same place, but Truflite must treat theirs differently.
I've shot them side by side plenty of times and found that both do a fine job, can't really see a difference in the flight department.
For my barred feather, dipped an crested arrows I buy gateway.
For winter hunting,Truflite.
Nice to have options I guess.

I've also noticed Gateway's parabolics tend to be slightly higher profile, I like that. I've never had a quality issue with either brand. I really like Gateway's Tre-bark, but like True flights barred pattern better.

I Use Gateway Feathers about 95 percent of the time becouse of the Camo Colors. I Like there Solid colors better also. I have used alot of Truflite feathers & they are great. they just aren't as inovative as gateway.

I use both Gateway and TrueFlight and like them both. I don't chop my own. I don't notice any appreciable difference. I haven't tried that other brand yet.

I use gateway. My supplier around here brings them in because he can sell them up to 15 cents cheaper per feather.
I can also get true flight feathers in full length locally and tend to us then for custom splicing.
I guess I use both
