The riser is a Dymondwood like product called Dymalux and color is Kodiak Solid, there are more lams per inch than Actionwood or Dymondwood..wait till I finish it tomorrow night, the grain is gonna pop and look much deeper and darker.

first time using it, it does have a chemical? smell but not a real bad one..I can barely smell it thru my respirator,I also use a good fan and keep shop doors open when sanding and cutting..temps are in the high 70's to mid 80's here..I can see where some people may have major Health issues with this and other wood products if they are cooped up in an air tight or poorly vented shop or basement.

Very nice. The design looks familiar. I love the Ebony but they want your first born for it. I picked up some Wenge today hopefully it will be dark enough for what I have planned next.

Savage,Yes Macassar can be pricey.. The only Macassar in this bow are the veneers and I got them for a great price.. the riser is Dymalux and it ain't cheap either but I thought it would look good with the macassar ebony. I built this bow for myself and will build a longbow to match it, I think Helen will claim the longbow if it comes in 45-50 lbs?? I put a rest and 450+ string on and shot a few arrows, no problems, bow tiller was 1/8 inch positive and there is no hand shock, feels like it came in arround 4 pounds heavy??
