problem with horn bellied bow
« on: February 22, 2011, 09:59:00 PM »
Anyone who makes horn bellied bows have this happen?  My osage has an 8" split on the bottom limb about a 32nd of an inch from the horn belly.  The bow was shot quite a bit last year and then wasn/t shot from November to last week.  I noticed the split when I was going to shoot it at my league.  The bow is sinew backed and I think the sinew may have put to much stress on the Osage.

Thats a shame if it rined Dan, that was a great looking bow.
