BBH for the kids
« on: March 07, 2011, 10:57:00 PM »
Decided to put together another bow for the kids after a crack popped up on the first one I made.  This one is a two layer lam bamboo backed hickory.  Despite this being a pain to glue together, it went pretty smooth.  First attempt finishing real bamboo and will probably go back and rework it.  As you can see the outer limbs are a bit stiff, but I am at my desired weight of 25# at 20" and it shoots great.  I am afraid to mess with it anymore.  I shot some little 1/4" birch arrows in this thing and wow they were quick.  I really like shooting it and wish I could get another 10" out of the draw.

48" NTN
