The sky is the limit as far as design goes. you can use the same form and play with different materials and taper rates to improve your design, or haul off and start from scratch.

Get a picture of something you like the looks of, and go from there.   :goldtooth:  It's a great adventure starting from scratch.

Mild R&D, bamboo backed ipe or elm or similar color belly, zebra handle with an accent stripe that follows the flow of the bow, belly wood and antler, tip overlays with a handle overlay. 50-55# @ 29" and sent to Eagle Bay NY  :)

I couldn't hazard a guess on that one Brandon.  Looks kinda like a Big Jim Thunderchild.  Maybe he could help with a starting point for you.

well i took a guess and we'll see where she comes out. I based it on swiss bows chart but it'll give me a starting point...

I went with a combo that I've been wanting to build for a while...

Bocote and zebra wood.... can't wait to see what happens.

well guys and gals i've been busy busy... worked 5 straight nights so taking a while but things i've done...

1. Used kenny's method for squaring the form with a router.
2. Ordered Robosander, fullerplast, and air gun.
3. worked on pattern for the riser.(so when everything gets here i can just throw it on the sander and have it perfect.
4.Mounted 3 deer so i don't have any more to do when the bow gets here....

5. Last but not least missed 3 head shots at turkey's sunday morn lol... i'll have plenty of pics when everything gets here.
