How to reduce spring back from the mold?

Hey everyone.
If you wanted to build a lam glass bow with a lot of r/d, how do you keep spring back to a minimum?
Does it help to use more core lams that are thinner rather than fewer thicker ones perhaps?
Thank you!

Yes I believe that is what I have read in the past. I use three cores with glass and dont get hardly any. Some bowyers will use a minumum of six total in a stack including glass.

Yep... when you use more lams the 5 lams will slide slightly against each other and create a stronger bond holding the shape.
With only a few lams you don't get as much sliding and the thicker wood wants to go back to it's original form.

Thinner lams help and so does letting it cool down before opening the form.
