I think the caul being passed around is in my possession unless there is another one. the one I have is DVSHunters R/D caul pattern aka the traveling caul.

chris, you have one of five I passed out I think. I stil only use one side of the caul for both limbs to ensure an even bend. I don't think I ever got it perfect.

laminations, reflex, deflex. these are things i know in my heart i will eventually want to get into. as of now im still learning the finer points of self bows but i know i want to do it all.

but when it comes to laminations i dont even know where to start. i know there are places where you can buy entire kits that basically do everything for you but i want to do a lot myself!

but where do i start. even if i got one of these caul templates i dont know what to do with it.

point me at square one please! where can i find the literature and references for starting projects like that?

Stone-  I got the design today ... Thanks I'll pass it on as soon as I trace the pattern... Who wants to be the next keeper of the traveling caul?  Shoot me a pm
