Ordered a new BW
« on: February 19, 2008, 03:54:00 PM »
I just ordered a PSAII 60" long 84@28
I didn't go with an exotic wood as they can't go over 75 pounds with the bambo limbs.
I also have a new dozen Heritage 350's coming with 100 grain brass inserts and 8 grains per inch weight tubes.
I just love new toys

Buff, just read your conversation w. Dr. Ed
Be honest, you just wanted a new bow, right?
Good luck!

Sounds good, Buff! Good luck on whacking that Cape buffalo!

My PLX "Bocote" is 78lbs@29", so I suppose that is borderline. I find it peculiar or interesting that that is Black Widow's stance, whereas Howard Hill seems to be the opposite, ie. bamboo is what they will do in the real heavy weights.

Buff, if I were you I would seriously think of upping the poundage on that bow. My 90 year old grandma shot 84# and we only let her shoot small cottontails with a bow that light.

Just a thought!

I thought maybe you ordered a new Widow because you did not get a pass through at the big hog you shot at right next to the blind. That was a THRILLER. I have one on order that should be here in  @ 3 weeks. I drove down to Nixa to pic out the lams last week. Shes gonna be 54in 45@ 26in. PSRX. Them Widdow boys are fine men. If my PSRX grows up maybe it will be as big as yours.LOL

I doubt that I could pull back an 84# bow even if it had wheels on it. Sure sounds like the right medicine for Cape Buffalo, though.
