I have had good results using water based poly as far as weather sealing but I am back to using Bohning for my clear sealing and crown dipping. It is easy to use and is the best looking for those applications when dipping, the thinner just stinks to high heaven. I suggest building a cabinet you can hang the arrows in and doing it outside. The thing about nothing being compatible with Bohning is only half true. Almost no finishes are compatible under Bohning but some can be applied over it. I use Whispering Wind cresting paints so I don't have to use the FletchLac thinner indoors. If you want to seal over the cresting some oil based finishes can be dipped over as well, but they may put a yellow tint on white dips. You'll have to do some experimenting if you go that route. Also I have not tried the super coat, but clear is pretty tough already.
