I was wondering where you have been ken and now I see. I want to grow up and be just like you. You pump out bows faster then any one I have seen and still make them all works of art. Love your mollies ken

you sure can crank them out; it's a great collection you've got. do you sell them or keep them all to yourself? I don't know what i would do with so many bows.

Ken, I've wondered about using crepe myrtle but didn't think it would be a good choice. Glad you proved me wrong.
Got some really great looking bows there.

Ken, I just got to ask.  How in the world do you build so many.  I have to be really in the mood to do all that tillering.  Took me 8 months to finish the last one.  Probably take me as long for the next one.

I am sitting here amazed.  do you sell em?  Or just stack em up?

red ive used hickory , elm, black walnut, maple,a lil osage, red mulberry, cherry, ive yet to find anything that wants to be a bow as much as crepe myrtle . and the great thing is people prune it back every couple years .
bigcountry this is about half of the ones ive built since last time i posted. i get in the mood and turn some out and then my work schedule keeps me from doing anything for a week or so then i turn some more out.

Great work Ken, I wish I had your energy. I think I'll just send all my remaining staves down there to you and let ya knock em out for me. Maybe keep half for yourself and send the other half back?  :D

I get tired just seeing all the bows you knock out so quick. Heck I just broke a sweat typing this reply.   :goldtooth:

I mean, I need to be mentally in the mood to tiller.  It takes me alot of thinking. Sometimes mentally exhausting.

I guess for a guy like you, it gets easier and easier to tiller.
