« on: July 17, 2011, 04:17:00 PM »
i'm getting some finish today for some reurve limbs that i have taken back to the glass and wood. do you mark the glass or do you put a coat of finish on and mark it then and then put more coats over that?

i do 2 coats of tru oil and then my writing and finish with how ever many coats of tru oil i decide. i do a couple coats first because sometimes the ink will absorb into the wood and have a smudged effect instead of being sharp and legible. this is for all wood bows. i'm not a glass bow guy. don
