Glass problem?
« on: November 17, 2011, 02:00:00 AM »
Hey Guys!

Last few days i glued up a pair of recurve-limbs with my new "fishhook"-design form. one limb came out very nice, the other shows white lines in the glass from one side to the oter in the recurve section.

is it a glass problem, or is the recurve radius to thight.

thanks guys.

greets Herm

It looks like the radius of your fishhook recurves is just a tick th narrow. How thick is the glass ? Maybe you can go thinner with the glass.

Do you have a picture ?

Hey Andy!

Pictures will follow next few days. Its a 0.04" clear glass. It looks like a collapsed matrix, in which the glass is embedded in.

do you use a air hose or clamping system on that?  If the clamp you might of tighten to much or not enough with out pics can't tell you.
