I had a 2nd piece of Yew that is only 1" wide at the widest and when tillered it was VERY WEAK! I glued a 1/4" Ash backing on it ( after flatening the back with the fence rigged saw )and cut it down using the same fence as above. Its almost finished now and appears to be around 40lbs. We'll see how it turns out soon.
