I finally sold my old band saw and ordered a new one from Grizzly.
Of course, the minute the saw left my shop, I got a rush order for a curved taxidermy base for a coyote mount.

A note to anyone from Canada who might be looking to buy woodworking machines. I was quoted a price of $3390.00 for a band saw here and I'm getting a similar one ( slightly larger ) from the US for well under $2000.00.

Very nice Mike.  Ya just can't beat nicely figured maple.

Shoppin' twice today Kenny?? - Are you nuts or somethin'?

I get off work early tomorrow and have one more trip to make tomorrow to get my brother-in-law something. It will be something in a bottle to bring some additional holiday cheer.  My mother-in-law is at my house through Christmas, so I might have to get myself some additional holiday cheer too    ;)

Santa came again today... Went out to get the mail and low and behold, there was a check from the USPS for the full amount of insurance and shipping charges for the bow that got broken on it's way to Pearly Boy. I only filed the claim a week ago:) I was impressed!

That's good news Roy!  You always hear stories of guys that never get their claims for one reason or another.
