Ok, I have the 62" hybrid / 64" plans. I am building the hybrid. I am at the point of glue-up (have not glued yet - that would have been bad  ) and ran into an issue. The 64" and 62" plans are exactly the same except the limbs are different lengths and the fade-outs on the 62" riser only go down to about 1/8" and then end at a 45 degree angle. It is pretty obvious they are drawn this way on purpose. They are the same length as the 64" fades but the 64" fades taper all the way out. Why is this? It does not look like it will work without leaving a 1/8" gap (bad!). Surely the taper lamination doesn't just butt up against the riser at the end of the fade - I would think that would be very weak at that point. I am planning to just taper them all the way out, glue it up like the 64" longbow, and call it good but I wanted to make sure I am not missing anything.
