Bow makeover
« on: February 06, 2007, 07:10:00 PM »
Hello,
I wanted to show a couple of pics of a bow I put skin-eez skins on. It wasn't to bad to put on (other than my mistakes) And it sure changed the look of the bow. This bow is for a friend of mine. He liked a bear tigercat I had but it only was a 38 lbs bow I wanted one he could hunt with if he wanted to. A fellow tradganger (Hot Hap) gave me a great deal on one great bow for him. The only problem is the yellow glass didn't seem practical for hunting. So I ordered a set of the Arrow wraps unlimited's skin-eez. Nice stuff Sure made a big difference in the look of the bow. My only problem is once they stick they are stuck. I ended up streaching one limbs' skin-eez but it turned out ok despite my best efforts. Up close it shows, but not if you back off a bit. All and all I'm realy pleased.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Great job Jason-I think I may have made a mistake. I believe your buddy is going to love that one. Hap

That looks great to me.   I have some skin-eez on order. I hope my bow turns out as nice.

That looks great Jason. I just got a 560 takedown that was all black, scrubbed off all the black, and for the limb back I bought some of that camo tape, not the ducttape but a soft tape, great results with that also. Great job,and doing it for a buddy,Good spirit,JB

Thanks guys.

MWM,
You should have good luck with them. Even as hard as I tried to mess them up they turned out nice. Until you get close you'll not see my mess up. It was my fault. They look pretty sweet too.
