Where???????????????
« on: December 24, 2011, 04:26:00 PM »
Where does some one find a cheep bow blank to learn on. I have this itch to build a bow.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

I'd say Lowe's or Home Depot. Red oak board bow, following Foresttrekker's bow build-along.
Step lightly, and shoot a trad bow.

IN THE WOODS
People need to get a life. That dose not mean to take someone else’s, or to make one they can't support.

If you fish and hunt only to catch or kill something. You have MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY.

Jerry,
Howard Hill Archery sells unfinished glass longbow blanks.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
