For those considering a bow from Liberty/Allen Boice

It looks as though Allen will be closing his bow building business for an extended period of time.

Allen will continue to take orders for a very limited time.

I just talked to him today and he mentioned this.  I dont think it's a permanent down more of a short term one (few months) due to changing of a day job is how it sounded.   Either way I look forward to two more chiefs!

I talked to Allen 3 weeks ago at the Trad Archers of Oregon banquet and bought a bow there. He had several bows there maybe 8-10 Chief, Contender and English models. There was a Chief Elite 55# @28 that nearly stole me from my English camp but I held my ground and bought another English. I still think about that bow. Man it was sweet. So maybe he has some that would work for you guys if you are looking.
You can't go wrong with a Liberty. Then there was this other English clear glass over bamboo 68" 62#@28 cocobola riser maybe I should.....

I just got an English from Allen. What a great, smooth, pretty bow! And just in time it looks like!
Directions: Hike, camp, hunt, fish, wash, rinse, repeat.

Hopefully he'll be back building soon.  I had my English out this weekend and it so sweet shooting.
