Mad Dog Archery
« on: February 22, 2008, 08:39:00 PM »
Hey All, Im interested in getting my 7 year old a well built. good looking longbow. He had an Internature recurve that we gave to his cousin and then I bought him a 37# HH Bear Cub.He shoots it well but I can tell he struggles a bit and I worry about injury.I also think the lighter the bow the more hell enjoy it at this time. We'll save his Hill bow for a couple more yearsSo for any of you who have experience with these Maddogs what can I expect? Are they durable? And at his age are they cool looking is more important.
                           Thanks, Izzy

Yes on all accounts. My boy is getting a Pup for his 5th birthday in April. Mike is a good guy also and easy to deal with.

Mike make a great bow.  They are very well made and perform really well.  I have bought two from Mike for my daughter.  The are very durable and everyone that has seen her shooting her bow thought it was very cool!  Here is a picture of the one my daughter is currently shooting.

I had one made for one of my sons and these are the best value on the planet.  Looks just like Dad's bows and even comes with a few arrows to boot.  Mike and his bows get my highest rating

My daughter loves her bow.  That is the bottom line for me!  Of course it didn't hurt that Mike was a great guy to deal with, the bow is well made and the price was very reasonable.

I just ordered my 10 yr old son a bow from Mike. He is a very good guy to deal with and really helped me to get the right bow for my son. He is actually trying something different with this bow but I won't tell until it is finished then I'll post pics. Bow should be ready around mid-April.

Gotta 30#,54" bow for my wife from Mike.  Great little bow. I like to use it to warm up with.  It's a fun bow to shoot.

Yes, Mike is a great guy and makes great bows.  All three of my boys got new Maddog bows this past Christmas and they love them.  They look and shoot great!
