Clearity of clear glass

I was wondering if you all had a trick to making the clear glass really sparkle.  On the last few clear glass bows I did, I found that the wood and fabric looked really dull when done.

Especially on the bright pink fabric I used on the bow I built for a young gal.  The fabric is really bright.. but after glue up I felt it really dulled.

Anyway.. any ideas or suggestions would be great.  I am using binghams clear glass and smooth on EA40.

I think clarity can change from one run to the next when the manufacture it.
What grit sandpaper did you final sand the limb glass with?
Finer the grit the better the clarity.

I go down to 240 grit.  Never thought of that.. you think a finer grit will help?

I was also wondering if a different mix ratio on the smooth on made any difference?  I could not find that info on their website.

Don't know about the mix ratio but any more I don't sand the limb faces with anything heavier than 220 unless I need to get rid of some weight.
Usually I finish off with 320 and sometimes 400.

I will try that with this next couple.  You feel you get a good clear view of the wood underneath?
