trentcur this is how i keep lams from sliding sideways. Once lams are on form i put the plates all the way then once I get some tape on them i adjaust plates to where they are even with top of lams so they dont hurt my hose. The slip I had on this one was just me being out of practice. I moved riser from end to end and slid a lam length wise.

here are a couple pics of swing fixtures. The base is keyed so it repeats when going on saw.

OOPS!!!!! well this one ended up scrap. I have built 34 bows to date this is only the fourth one I have lost. I messed up from the start and for some reason ordered .050 glass instead of .040 so it came out heavy it was 65@28". If everything else would have been ok I probably would have sold it. But with handle stripe being off center I decided it was time to experiment with reducing weight. I got it down to 56# at which point I lost my strung limb profile(tip became weak). So lesson learned was if I need to reduce that amount that amount of weight some glass will have to be removed from back and belly.

upside is I have band saw issues resolved and am cutting radius and maintaining center line, already have more material ordered and tulip wood and walnut cut for riser. Thanks for the compliments and kind words. will start a new thread soon!
