I am getting ready to make my first back quiver. I was wondering what design works better, straight sided or tapered. I like the look of both, but does one have more advantages than the other? I am sure it is probably a personal preference thing, but I've never worn a back quiver so I thought I would ask.

Jonathan- a taperd quiver helps keep the fletching from bunching up. It would depend on what yo uwill use the quiver for , hunting or field use , target etc. My back quiver is much like the "King" quivers we had in the 50's and 60's. Heres a link to one on the auctions site:
