Thanks guys! I killed him two days after X-mas. And you are correct; we don't get much snow in this part of Oklahoma. I am origianly from Wisconsin, so it was a real treat to get out there and hunt in a fresh 4 inches. The next day it was all gone. I have over a dozen trail camera pics of that buck, but had only seen it once in the woods, and a coyote was chasing it! Caught him sneaking back to his bedding area right after sun up. Hit him a bit far back, but he made a big loop and died 50 yards from the shot. I got him w/ a Martin DreamCatcher 55#, GoldTip 5575, and a Muzzy Phantom. Sent the story to Traditional Bowhunter, but haven't heard back from them as of yet. Hope to have it published. Any advise/tips in that regard?
