Thank you Marty, I just got home from work and got your email. I got set up at photobucket late last night when I could not sleep maybe next time I can try to do it, if I can figure it out.
Thank you again.
Dean I should be off Thursday and Friday we will have to get together in between games so I can shoot those new bows that I have not even be able to see yet much less shoot them.
The bow is #49@28 and the limbs are black limba. That crazy red streak is on all four sides of the limbs. The riser is made of shedua(spelling?). I like that you can reach full draw with your hat turned the right way and the string just touches the brim. That is impossible to do with the 66" d-style bow of Dan's I have. But boy can that longbow fling an arrow. I do not know how fast this bow is flinging an arrow but if conditions are right and me and Dean are not pressed for time maybe we can shoot arrows through his chrono and post some numbers, but I will have to make sure it is alright with Dean first. I am sure he wants to know how fast it is too.
Thanks again Buff for posting these pictures for me again. I like it when people can see the work that Dan Toelke does. We all have seen fine examples of his work in the past but it is always nice to see new things that he creates!
I hope everyone likes the pictures.
