Bearpaw Power Carbon
« on: May 15, 2012, 11:50:00 AM »
Anyone ever use the Bearpaw power carbon from Kustom King in limb cores?Just wondering how it compares to the Gordon carbon in stiffness, etc. Looks like it only comes in .015 thickness. Any info would be appreciated.

Never used it but I wouldn't think it would be noticeably different.  Particularly because it's mostly used in the neutral axis of the limb its not really bearing a lot of load, its mostly there for torsional stiffness and to improve return rates.  I doubt you would notice any difference but I'd be interested to see the results.

AR I had a pc sent to me. It looks like good quality carbon. I took a small pc and burned it off and the carbon had lots of carbon fibers in it for all the thickness its built .015 thick. Are you looking to put it under some glass? I think that is best. I dont know if its sanded two sides. Great price. JG
