Copperhead Skins
« on: May 27, 2012, 11:34:00 PM »
I checked the classified and was unable to track down any copperhead skins... Does anyone know who is a good contact for a set of copperhead skins to back a takedown longbow. I believe they need to be at least 28" long and 1.5" wide. Thanks for your help...

I ended up having Bob Morrison put the skins on the last bow, I could not find any either.

Do not go to the "American Headhunter" for copperhead skins.

Theirs are brittle and falling apart.  You will be blamed for their condition and will not receive a refund.

One reason they are expensive and hard to find is some states
Mo. Is one it is illegal to harvest them and especially sell them.
BW bow co. Here has to buy them from vendors from legal states and has to have acert. Proving where they came from.

This guy just put a pair of matching skins on the St. Judes Auction last night.

Good luck bidding.
