Got everything I need except a hose, I will order one , just checking to see if someone has an extra one I could buy Thanks Andy

You mean the fire hose for clamping?  I might be able to help you out if so.

I've heard you can sometimes go to fire stations, and they'll have hoses they're throwing away, so you can get them for free.  You just have to get a plug, some hose clamps, and a valve.

and don't forget to buy a valve "re-build kit"..only cost about $3 for a 4 pack and a valve tool.. I get my plugs and hose from Binghams. A 82" hose with plugs is $41 before shipping, I like to make my own stuff when I can, but I bought the Binghams stuff since it is a proven design..and I don't have a way to turn aluminum to make the hour glass shaped plugs.

I will be out of the shop until next week,but I have some good 1 1/2" hose. The bingham plugs fit nice.
If some of you folks need hose,contact me next week and I will let you know what I have.

pity i'm in SA  :(  The cost of shipping alone makes it a bad idea for me.
