On a 58" osage selfbow with flipped tips, should I run the sinew all the way to the tips or only to the end of the working portion?

I would run the sinew right up to the tip overlay-not under.

I suggest, only sinewing a bow, where the sinew will be put under stress and being utilzed.Otherwise,it is just takein a ride and is unneccesary mass.

Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Only on the working part of the limb and through the handle. I stop mine about 5'' from the tips.

After about two weeks for the hide glue to set up, I strung it with about 2" of brace height. Pulled a couple inches... WOW! Seems to have picked up a few pounds.
Going to give it another week or so before tillering any further.
