Green glass, anyone?
« on: July 12, 2012, 05:34:00 PM »
I see that Bear is offering recurve bows with their "Grayling Green" glass.  I am curious if anyone knows their source or why that glass is not available to the general public for building?

Thanks

Gordons makes all the glass.

They make what is most popular according to sales.

Anybody can get any color they want,IF they buy enough of it.

Great Northern and Northern Mist have green glass instock to build custom orders with.

Thanks for the info, guys.  That makes total sense, and I figured it might be something like that.  For some reason, I thought green would be a more popular color.

I would sign up for 20 and pre-pay, now we only need 780.  We would also have to agree on the size. I like 1.5x .050 but the shade of green is not as big of a deal for me. Would it be worthwhile to talk to the folks at Bingham and three rivers to see if they would be in at all?
