Longbows on PBS
« on: September 08, 2012, 09:06:00 AM »
I was eating breakfast and watching TV. We watched as a guy made a coffee table out of an old barn door when he said "Join us next week for longbows".

I don't know who all can get this but the channel we were watching was PBS 39 out of Fort Wayne, IN. Check out "American Woodshop" Sat. Sept. 15th at 8:30 am

If it's the one I think it is they cover a guy who goes around to a specific specialty woodcraft store's outlets and teaches a bowmaking class.
I've spoken to people in my local store who have taken the class and it sounds good but it's an outrageous amount (in my opinion, anyway).
I was disappointed in the PBS show, it wasn't very well done (again, just my opinion).
