Dave Beeler in Kansas. Have one of his bows, and he's about to start on another for me. See my Avatar. Great guy that builds a fine longbow.

Roman Hershberger Hill Country Bows. Several sponsors carry his now and he makes a real sweet shooter.

I'll second what deadpool says. Go check out Bill Griffens "Zona custom bows" I will be receiving his first ever takedown shortly and plan to do a full review for everyone to see. Contact me if you'd like more info. Skippy

Going with Walt here. I know it sounds like all us Montanans stick together, but Randy Morin does a really nice bow. I shot one through the course at the Traditional Bowhunters of Montana get together up Moose Creek last year, and was very impressed. Well thought out design, great mechanics, and workmanship was awesome. That's my two centavos.

Timberhawk Bows.
I don't think many people know about them, but they are excellent bows! Not super fancy, but I don't know of another bow I like as much in terms of shootability and comfortable grip.

Chris Sparks at Lewis Hollow. He has try before you buy bows. I shot his three piece takedown longbow a few weeks ago amazing bow. Quality, smooth to draw, speed and quiet. Most comfortable riser I ever held no BS. Sponsor here also.IMHO Chris will be getting pretty busy real soon.

I'll jump on the JD "Whisperstik" bandwagon. Great bow and great person.

I gotta second the Timberhawk Bows. Scott makes a very nice looking/shooting recurve with the most "shootable" grip I have tried. Haven't shot one of his longbows yet, but they look good too! Mike

Copperhead Bows in Brandon MS.
I haven't chronoed mine yet but my wife has a 45# C-pound shooting 400 gr arrows and I'm shooting a 53# Copperhead with 560 gr arrows and there ain't much difference in speed.

John Holzrichter in Wichita, Ks. He makes a really nice T/D recurve and 1pc longbow. He even made me a T/D longbow that I loved but my oldest son seemed to like it even more so it found a new home. Not to mention the awnry old fart shoots pretty darn good too.He built both of these bows for my youngest son Noah!

I'll give a shout out for Randy Morin as well. Saw one of his bows on Tuesday. Good design and very well made. I wanted to shoot it real bad but it was a lefty unfortunately.

Seven Lakes has a dedicated following although I don't think Mike finishes many bows these days. I have two of their Blanks and no matter how many I build myself I'll always have my "Long Night".
