Last year about this time I quite my job and help start up a bussines. It made it hard to have time to do anything with archery or bowmaking. The little time I did get was for shooting and a few days of hunting this fall. My thoughs would drift into dreams of selfbows daily but my work load I found no time for such things.
I have an employee that said he needed a bow to do midieval fighting reenactments(larp stuff I think). A light went off in my head. I have a board bow that need to be finished up and with a little more tillering I could get it down to the weight he needed. I have started making shavings again and orderd a new scaper and I feel so good. It's nice to have alittle time agian for bowmaking. Now I think I'm going to have get started on one for myself this winter.
