Riser block glue-up

Hi guys, it's me again.
Annoying, I know.    :(

This time, I'm ready to buy the materials to get my riser done, but I have one last question for the experienced bowyers out there.

How do I glue up my riser block?
I want to have a 1/4" phenolic i-beam as core, and action wood to sandwich that. Is it still possible to add some 1/16" phenolic strips as accents like many other risers?  

This is probably the last thing I need to know before I place an order for the materials.

If you want an I-Beam(back to belly) and accent stripes(side to side) as well,you can do that. It will be two different glue ups. Do one-let it cure and then do the other.

So does that mean I cut the action wood into 4 pieces? I was thinking if I can cut it into 2 and do the accent first, then I'll have that piece and insert the i-beam into it.

NO,
Do one at a time.
I would do the Accent first-glue it and let dry.
Then do the I-beam.

So I should glue it like a normal accented riser first, then half it belly to back and add the I-beam? Is that right?

yes, that's correct.  i'd do it in 2 steps like you were doing 2 seperate risers.
