Bows and Broadheads Safety reminder!
« on: February 27, 2008, 09:54:00 AM »
Hi Gang,

I had something happen to me yesterday I thought I'd share as a good reminder.  I know we are all very mindful to take care of where we shoot and such, but these bows and arrows we all love so much can still be potentially dangerous.

Yesterday I was attempting to pull a broadhead tipped arrow from a target.  As I was doing so, suddenly my feet went ZING right out from under me and I went down HARD.  This was not a stumble and fall, this was a cartoon style feet up in the air body slam kinda fall.    :scared:     I fell so hard I could have easily driven that broadhead deep into places I didn't want it.

ZIKES!

Thank the Lord he covered me once again...

Be careful, always!
