I like shooting the cedars...someone raised a concern about carbon fibers that might remain in the animal if the arrow breaks. Wood will soften, carbon will just stick into the roof of your mouth or gums! Anybody else had this concern?

It really doesn't matter what kinda shaft material yer arras are made with, what counts most is can you hit yer mark consistently.

It's too bad Howard Hill never had the chance to take shooting lessons from you guys, he would have finally been able to hit something once and a while. Really now, I have both and when the arrow works, it works no matter what it is made out of. It is possible that some just don't know how to get cedars to work for them.

I think I'm going back to wood too. I just like the looks and feel and they shoot plenty good enough. Less monkeying around adding weight, etc.

Tripp, Haven't you learned, YET?! Carbon has no SOUL! Wood has a Spirit!
