Made my first Self Bow

Made my first self bow from a blank I got from Matt Wirwicki and instruction from the DVD by Gary Davis. I actually had called Gary to ask about a blank and he suggested I call Matt. Both men rate as exceptional Men. They both were extremely helpful in making my choice. I know she is not perfect, but as Gary says, maybe my next bow will be, otherwise I am extremely happy with the performance. The bow is Osage, 65" 65@25. I was hoping for a little closer to 55@25 but she is stack free and places heavy footed arrows on my spot. She wont break any speed records or win a fashion war but she is mine. I plan on using her this Turkey season.

You did very well for your first bow, congrats. If anything your arrow is nocked a tad high on the string. Don't know if you have a nocking point on the string yet or ya was just guessing for the picture. But the tiller on the bow look real sweet.

Nice bow. Congratulations. Very smooth flowing lines. I can't wait to see your bows a few from now.

Nice bow - you did well! A lot of satisfaction making and hunting your own bow. Congrats. Good luck with the turks. Starts here in a couple of weeks.
