New to me WARF

Picked up a lefty WARF'ed Black Bear riser from another TG'er (Thanks Art!) and bought a set of KAP carbon limbs off another site.  WOW what a shooter!  Finished out at 60.5" long and 48#@28".  I am drawing to 29" and getting 50# and no stack.  I built a new 10 strand DF97 string and am very impressed with the performance.  A really fun bow to shoot!

Very nice.I shot my first metal riser last May.Now I own two Warfs and two DAS bows.

Looks good. The Black Bear riser seem to work excellant for these conversions. I built one last fall using a Laser Mag riser with Samick limbs. It's 60 lbs. Unfortunately, this limb forward design stacks somewhat. Shoots great though.
I picked up an Oregon riser yesterday and plan on building another.

Shovelbuck  Is there any problems building a wharf with an Oregon riser? I have an old
Oregon bow in the basement and that would make a great riser if it is adaptable.  THANKS BOB

I really would like to find more info on the bows and the possibilities, as far as which risers can be used and who has tried what and where to get limbs. Any help?

There is an absolute ton of WARF info there, and it is frequented by Bob Gordon, who started this in the first place.

His dog is/was named Warf....hence the name.

Hey Bob, for the Oregon riser to work the limb angles would have to be drasticly changed. Not worth the effort in my opinion when there are so many other riser that work without modification.
