Spring osage harvest

I thought I would post some pics of my osage harvest from this spring.

I think I posted pics of this tree earlier.  It has crazy zig zag grain.

 

 

This log was straight grained

Some second growth with dark outer rings.

 

This came from one big downed tree.  It has a nice zig zag grain pattern also.

 

 

I decided that I was done cutting for the year until I saw some trees on my neighbors property that were pushed over by the county workers.  I couldn't pass this stuff up.

 

 

Now I'm done for the year.....well maybe
