I-70 Osage?
« on: April 23, 2013, 10:38:00 AM »
Hi gang!

I'm headed from western Colorado to Ohio and back the first week in May.  Do any of you know where I can pick up some Osage on or near I-70 between Colorado and Ohio?

Thanks gang!

There is a ton along the side of the road between Indianapolis and the OH line.......
"The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect" - Benjamin Franklin

Non resident tags for osage in Indiana are prohibitively expensive.  Just move along please.

All right you guys!

I won't have time to cut or hunt any. I was hoping that one of you Hedge wranglers would sell me a stave or two while I was passing through.

Keep in mind that it might be nice to be nice to a guy who knows where to find an elk in Colorado.

I have some green stuff you can swing by and look at.  I'm in Indy about 8 miles, 15 minute drive, south of I-70.

Wow, that sounds great guys!

Thanks for the entertainment and the offers.
I'll contact you privately to arrange schedules and see if there's anything you want me to bring from the Mile-High state.

Planning to get through CO, KS, and part of MO on Wednesday 05/01. Then on Thursday to Cedarville OH to pick up my daughter from school. Then we'll head back on the 3rd and 4th. She's a freshman so I may be able to make this trip a few more times!

Thanks for the response everyone!

Got my daughter home safe with all of her belongings plus two staves from rainman.
Dan, thanks for the time and the wood. It's always good to get a chance to meet up with fellow TG'ers.
We'll probably be running back through next fall. Hoping to catch up with more of you then!
