Rug rest problems?
« on: February 07, 2007, 03:08:00 PM »
Has anyone else ever have any problems with rug rests?
I've always used velcro but tried a rug rest recently. Seems I can't shoot with one!!
But I switched back to the velcro and I'm back on target.
Anyone else have problems with rug rests?

I use velcro, but have not experienced the same concern you are.  What is it that is different ("I can't shoot with one" ) with your arrow flight ?   Maybe the velcro is thicker which affectively changes the nock point ?

Found out what the issue was...the rug rest was too high compared to the velcro. Thus, effecting the nock point.
Got it all corrected now.......bottle of Merlot helped too!
