The Purple Finch
« on: June 01, 2013, 11:25:00 AM »
I finally got a bow almost perfect and definitely have arrived at the design that works best.  Bow, takedown longbow 64 1/2" RD 16" riser with 66" limb template.  This one burgundy action wood with clear glass belly and black glass back.  The pictures really don't do the color justice.  Finish 9 coats Devcon 2 ton epoxy and 2 coats Minwax satin spar.  I named it the Purple Finch.
