Installing Riser inserts
« on: October 25, 2013, 10:10:00 AM »
I know its not rocket science, but I plan to install inserts into the riser of my Bear Grizzly this weekend.  Is there any helpful hints? I read some horror stories and I went to prevent having 2 useless holes in my bow.  I will be using the inserts for a Kwickie Kwiver.
Should I use any glue? if so what?
An archer tries to find ways to shoot further more accurately, a bowhunter tries to get as close as possible to ensure his shot is accurate.

Use a sharp drill bit- drill slowly. A brad point bit will work well- a dab a super glue on the inserts willseal the drill hole and hold the insert in.
