Glue for fiberglass

Let me say up front this is not trying to sale anything. I wanted to get that out there because my questions have a tendency to be pulled.

Question: What would be the best glue for fiberglass?

I have some fiberglass disks that are .12 thick and I was thinking of gluing them together to make a pole then shape it down into a bow, just to see if it will work. Up to about 600 disk which would 72”. Any thoughts on this?

Think it would be too heavy.

I don't think I would waste my time or glue to try it. Even if it would bend I see it coming apart and being a big pain in your backside.

You are starting out cross grain.  Fiberglass must run longitudinal just like wood.  Don't waste your time.  Also - this would cause a whole lot of dust from sawing and/or sanding - not good for the health.  I try to minimize any fiberglass sanding and then use a mask and good ventilation.

It will fail, it will waste glue, and it will waste your time.

Sorry to be so blunt, but you're likely to get whacked in the noggin with that plan.

Well I appreciate all the answers and thoughts on what I’m thinking of doing. But how do we know what can happen if we don’t try. This would be just an experiment with some scraps from work. I have also considered drilling a hole centered in each disk to slide some drill rod down through the center. I feel I may learn something along the way on this journey. And I hope I can count on the good people of Trad Gang along the way. No matter how likely it is to “FIAL”. This is just one of those WTF let’s see what happens, cause who knows what might happen.
I know the hazards of the fiber glass; I mill it, sand it, file it, and drill it at work. So I’m aware of the dust.
 I also have some scraps for backing some bows from 3/4” to 2” (****NOT FOR SALE****)
