Bob, as always, Beautiful job!!  I wouldn't have put those two colors together, but it works great. I love it.  I guess that's why I build self bows, one less thing to worry about.  By the way 57# is exactly what I'm shooting now, (just say'n) I also have a bunch of nice snakey osage. LOL.

Very nice looking bow. Have you tied to shoot it to see if it is too heavy for you? Just wondering but its a beautiful looking piece..Congrats!!

Thanks fellas! I did trap a little and take it down to 55#, and going to keep it for demo model to take to trad shoots.Can handle that weight without real problems, just don't feel the need though when 45# is more than sufficient for our targets which only have a maximum of 28 yards.

Most welcome.In fact I saw a Charcoal actionwod on here with some Osage trim  recently which gave me the idea.
