wood scraps anyone?
« on: February 02, 2014, 03:03:00 PM »
So I am building a bow and for the riser I used some scrap burgandy dymondwood, gray actionwood and ebony that I had on hand. Now I'm ready for the overlays and realized I don't have enough scraps left to make them.
I was wondering if any of you had a thin scrap of flat grain burgandy dymondwood say 12" long lying around. I also need a thin piece of flat grain gray actionwood to go with it.
I'm willing to pay for them I just don't really want to buy a $30.00 block and pay shipping just for an overlay.
 Thanks, Mike

Got the char A/C , but not the dymondwood.

How thick and width? Free of course, scrap bin stuff.....
Stay sharp, Kenny.
