Coyote wood?

Anybody heard of or used coyote wood?Found a chunk at the local wood store and it reminded me of shedua only heavier. Bob

Thanks Blake, I will look it up. I know it is from Central America so Panama sounds good. I got it at Windsor Plywood in Prince George.40" long 2"x4" for about $13 a bf.Its really pretty red/brown with a mild curl.A guy on another forum said Mordillo. Bob

Wow Windsor out in your part of the country carries all that stuff here Windsor plywood's barely carries any exotics

The Windsor Plywood in my area carries all sorts of exotics.

They will order anything you wish, that they can source, too.

Winsdor didn't have a real good selection. Thats how I ended up with the coyote. Everything cost an arm and a leg and wasn't that good of quality.So the hunt for good wood goes on.I checked on shipping from Pa. and it was $100 for a 66# package.  :eek:  Bob

I have been lucky a company by the name of Black Forest Lumber company, carries a large selection every now and then if you catch them when the new stuff comes in, been some nice stuff.  :coffee:
