New fence for grizzly 14" bandsaw?

Needing to replace the fence that came with my g0555.  Doesn't sit flush to the table, and doesn't make it possible to do long straight cuts (always seems to wander around a bit, which hasn't been an issue till now, but will be when I start resawing for lams). I'm guessing that most folk that own this saw have replaced the fence as it seems to be the weakest part of the setup, was wondering what you guys went with and how it worked for you.  Thanks!

I haven't done it myself but I've seen people that just make their own and clamp it to the table. You can then adjust the fence angle to match the blade drift.

Just a thought.

There is a page on fence adjusting in owners manual. It's worth every minute to adjust saw to the nuts! I had a 14" and sawed miles of lams with the stock fence without the tall rip pc on it with no probs unless a bad or dull blade.

i just got that bad boy yesterday WOOT      
2 things , 1 there are 2 sets of holes make sure you are in the bottom set. 2 there is vertical play in the holes you have to hold it down while tightening.

Do you have the fence adjusted for drift?  You need to adjust the angle of the fence every time you replace the blade.  If you want to come by I'll show you how its done.

Think I'll take you up on that Cody, have to make sure I still have your number.  Would be nice not to have to spend the extra money on a new fence haha.

I know people who adjust the blade position to the table, means: The position for the blade on the wheels leads to the drift. Is the blade in the right position, there is no drift.

Definitely tune your saw up every now and then
Table to blade squareness,blade guides, blade tension, ect.
