More Snakewood at Woodgallery295
« on: May 22, 2014, 10:27:00 AM »
Just received a new piece of Snakewood. This piece looks clean enough to make full length veneers up to 2" wide and 36" long.

I'm going to hold this piece until someone feel it's the wood they want for their new bow. No need in cutting and grinding into the wrong size veneers.

It's covered in wax so it want check and that makes it hard to get good clear pictures.

If you have been wanting full length Snakewood veneers contact me.

The wax on the wood makes it hard to really show the pattern. The last piece I bought was the same way. After scraping off the wax the wood came to life. Hoping this one will be the same.
