lIMB QUESTION

I know I'm crazy but can't blame me for thinking.  I have a bow with 2 sets of identical limbs except one set of limbs is longer than the other so as to make a 62 incher out of a 60 incher.  What if I put a longer limb on the bottom and made a string for a 61 inch bow rather than a 60 or 62?  I shoot three under and was just wondering if the bow would shoot better or worse?

No way to know with out checking tiller.

I would not expect it to work well.
If you've got the string, brace it and check how much the tillering is off. If close then you can probably try it.

If you're going for 3 under I would put the longer limb on the top to make it weaker. That would give you a positive tiller and should work ok as long as you're not positive over ~ 1/4"

Also, I wouldn't make a special string just to try it out. Take your 60" string and untwist it a bit or twist up your 62" to get it to brace height.
